Bonfire night 1965

November 51965. Local kids build a bonfire in the old recreation ground at the top of Jericho Street, now the school playground. the City Council regularly remove all the rubbish, but the kids just get some more to build it up again. Finally it produces a fine blaze, with some singed sausages, and fingers.
