September pick report
Well what a nice morning. Twelve good and concerned citizens turned up at ten at the Community Centre to don a high vis jacket, grab some tongs and a plastic bag and get litter picking round Jericho. The result an hour later-seventeen sacks of detritus picked off the pavements and gutters. You name it,we collected it.
Then Oxford City Council did after us. What was fascinating this time was the esprit de corps, the new friendships made and the expressed desire to do it at more regular intervals plus of course the free cuppa after went down very well.
So,why not another short sharp ‘Hour for Jericho’ litter pick on SATURDAY JANUARY 6TH 2018.Save the date and do try and come along. It is a ‘good thing’ and fun. Nearly.
