The popular Saturday morning cafe at the Jericho Community Centre now has a new manager. From Saturday October 27, Laura Townsend will be welcoming all our hungry customers,
After 14 years, Tracey Heppel decided to step aside as cafe manager. Many thanks to Tracey for all her hard work in building up the Saturday morning cafe into a Jericho institution.
Now Laura, who has lived in Jericho for 24 years, will be be providing the hot breakfasts, along with the tea, coffee and cakes.
Laura says is very excited at the prospect. She wants to show that a good brunch can be affordable, and to create a calm, sociable and friendly atmosphere. She is hoping a wide range of people come in, everybody is welcome, including children and older people.
The cafe will be open every Saturday morning from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.
