Simple strength, balance, flexibility and mobility are the focus for this class.  Some time will be spent working on practicing going down and up from the floor (or kneeling). Uses chair as a support and a range of equipment. Ideal for people who are worried about their balance.

Did you know?

The origins of Nelson Street?

Nelson Street takes its name from a local pub, the Lord Nelson, subsequently renamed Carpenters’ Arms—which has since been converted to housing.

Where the community centre came from?

The centre was built at the end of the 19th century as the Church Institute for St. Barnabas.
