Ali’s store has been sold

Change of use likely

Posted - November 21, 2023

Ali's Jericho Store has been sold, to Arafat Kazi. You may have noticed that the stock is running down as they decide what do with the premises.

Our thanks to  Ali and all the family, whose convenience has served Jericho well for the last 40 years, For the last 18 years Shaukat Ali's youngest son Faisal worked at the shop. Faisal always went out of his way to help older residents going out in all weather to deliver to them.

But business has evidently been slower, and the arrival of Sainsburys' will have made things even more difficult.
