This year’s Oxford Canal Festival will be on Sunday June 29. As usual the event will run from midday until 6 p.m. and will be centred on the Aristotle Lane Recreation Ground, with other activities taking place along the towpath. The aim of the event is to celebrate the Oxford Canal past, present and future—through arts, crafts, music, drama and dance. The organizers are keen to attract greater participation from the local community. If you would like to get involved, by joining the committee, for example, or performing on stage, or helping with publicity, please contact Philippa McAllister.
