Doug, who died in June, was born in Cutteslow. He met Doreen at a dance at the OUP Institute in Walton Street. They later married and settled in Cardigan Street. He was ill for much of his life but was always positive, cheerful and forthright and had the loving support of Doreen. Our sympathies to her and their children.
