Tony and Wendy Matthews, who do sterling work in the community, have given up managing the VG shop, and have semi-retired to their house behind the shop on Walton Street. Good luck to them in anything new they undertake ... N.B. to dog-owners - your pooches are a pest when they poo on the pavements! Kindly encourage them in mor civilised habits ... Our pub-crawling spies tell us that some naughty people have been bouncing cheques around the hostelries of Jericho - do the landlords a favour and don't do it they're already having to put up with dwindling trade without losing more money
