Street Fair plans

Volunteers needed

March 2001

This year's Jericho Street Fair will be on Saturday June 9. Last year's was one of the best ever, and plans are already well under way to make this year's event even better. Canal Street will be closed as far as the Bookbinders, and Eddie, the landlord, will again ensure the celebrations stretch on into the evening with more outdoor music, street entertainment and a pig roast. New stallholders are welcome, though all stalls must be booked in advance: £15 each, or £12 for charities, or £5 if you bring your own set-up. We also urgently need more volunteers. Even if you can only help a few hours on the day itself this makes an enormous difference, as we usually have too few people. For more information please contact Carol Dutton on 557902.
