The Institute

Officers for community association

December 1982

The Institute is expanding slowly but surely. The Youth Club is flourishing with a play in the offing and a trip to Bristol ice-skating rink. Last week sixty people watched a video film. There will, of course be a Christmas Party.

Belinda operates there on Thursdays, selling deluxe muesli and any other health foods you might wish to order in bulk. At present the Trustees' lawyers are negotiating a lease with the City Council who will then licence the building back to the community. On Thursday 16th December at 8 p.m. there was a meeting at School to form a Community Association who will eventually receive the building by licence from the Council.

PUBLIC MEETING TO ELECT OFFICERS OF JERICHO/ST. BARNABAS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION. TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY 1st FEBRUARY AT 8 p.m. AT THE INSTITUTE.
