The centre has been open for almost six months and the activities are growing week by week. Playgroup meets 3 times a week on Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Youthclub is held twice a week - Tuesday evenings for younger age group (9-13) and Thursday evenings for older ones. 7-9 p.m. Woodcraft is on Wednesday evenings from 6-7.30 p.m. followed by Bingo at 7.30 p.m. in the Cafe's room. Zincmec our local pub football team train once a week and Keep Fit is held on Friday evenings 7.30-8.30 p.m. - just come along to join, it costs 50p. Strenuous but great fun - we keep weight checks, too. Yoga - Mondays and Wednesdays 6-7.30 p.m. Tuesdays 11.30 a.m.-1.00 p.m.
Johanna O'Connor of 94 Banbury Road (tel: 52335) has brought her yoga classes to the Centre. At the moment they are all for intermediate and advanced standard. Each class costs £2 and if you are interested ring Johanna first or go and talk to her so that you can decide which class is best. Beginners class probably starting in September.
For the more creative members we have Duncan Kilien's Life Drawing Classes on Mondays 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. £3 per session. There will be day-long sessions if there is sufficient demand. Bring your own materials, but boards/tables provided.
Astrology lessons take place in the meeting room on Monday evenings 7.30-9 p.m. Coming soon ... Starting April 15th - after school dance classes for 4-7 year-olds., 3.30-4.30 p.m., 75p per session. »r April 10th - Lunch Club every Wednesday 11.30 a.m.-1 p.m. All welcome. Creche - starting Tuesday 28th May and taking place every weekday afternoon thereafter from 1-4 p.m. £1.50 per child. In the Games Room downstairs, under 5s only.
