Celebration for Alive and Kicking duo

Posted - February 09, 2017
It was a big celebration on 30th January for Alive and Kicking in Jericho when we visited Barbara Harvey at Marston Court Nursing Home to celebrate her 101st birthday with balloons, presents and cards. It was also Sheila Jones’s birthday, so it was a double celebration with a combination of 173 years between them! Marston Court provided us with delicious sandwiches and cakes and we had a really lovely time. Barbara Harvey really enjoyed seeing everyone and finding out what the group had been doing. She gave us a copy of a DVD made for the Museum of Oxford in which she is featured speaking about Turner’s famous picture of the High Street in Oxford. Our programme for February and March is below. We welcome new members.
  • 13 February - Exercise Class with Kate Wilkinson
  • 20 February - Talk and Discussion on Dementia with Lorna Bourdeaux, Dementia Adviser
  • 27 February - Exercise Class with Kate Wilkinson
  • 06 March - Meeting
  • 13 March - Exercise Class with Kate
