Join in Jericho Fest 2026

Jericho Fest is back As always, the festival takes place on the weekend closest to St Barnabas Day (11 June), and we kick off in style on Saturday 6 June at 12 noon with the ever‑brilliant Oxford Morris Dancers outside the community centre.

 From there the  neighbourhood comes alive 

• Dozens of delightful stalls lining Canal Street - if you would like to book a stall for as littl as £7 just click here
• Trombonist George Taylor and his jazz band outside the Community Centre
• A full afternoon of music, food, and fun - of course with a big and beautiful bouncy castle
• The Street Fair Raffle --  prizes donated by local businesss.
• And the celebrations continue into the evening with more fantastic live music and delicious food  at the Bookbinders. 

Then on Sunday 7 June, Jericho wakes up to the spectacular Run Jericho, followed by a joyful finale in the afternoon with the Festival Mass and drinks at St Barnabas.

But what really makes Jericho Fest special is its people. This is a true community weekend, powered by volunteers — and even one hour of your time makes a huge difference. Whether it’s helping on the Community Centre stall, keeping an eye on the bouncy castle, or giving friendly directions to puzzled drivers, it’s great fun and a brilliant way to meet new people. No experience needed.
