Posted - March 23, 2023Greening Jericho, a group of local volunteers who have been working for the last two and a half years on Mount Place, are delighted with this new sign: designed by Greening Jericho volunteer and local artist Valerie Petts, it was financed in part by a kind donation by James Mills, a resident of Whitworth Place, in appreciation of the changes we have made to transform a sad, forgotten and unsavoury corner of Jericho into an attractive series of bee- attracting plants, flowers and benches, now used by many in our local community.
Greening Jericho is grateful to the community for donations of plants and money and is always happy to welcome volunteers.
