Burglar street chase
Suspect arrested

It is easy to be burgled. Young men are around our streets seizing opportunities. At the end of November, for example a criminal pushed through a door that had not closed properly and seized several items, only to discover that the resident was at home. This resulted in a chase through the streets, first by the resident, then by a street sweeper. A 999 call produced an impressive response. The police arrived in minutes, flooded the area and made an arrest. The next police ‘Have your say’ session will be Thurs. 15 Dec. 2.30 to 3.30 p.m. outside St. Barnabas school.
