Very few people turned up for the meeting on the 1st February to elect the Committee of the Community Association despite the fact that it was advertised in the last "Echo" and on Radio Oxford on the morning of the meeting. At all events, the committee was elected and very soon it is going to be working at full steam as the restoration gets under way.
The lawyers negotiating between the Trustees of the building and the City Council still have to complete their work on the Lease and, when that is finished (which should be in March) there snould be no reason why the work of renovation should not begin.
