Community Centre AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Jericho Community Association was held on April 8 and enjoyed videos from Jericho’s past. One, from the Peedell family, was of home cine from the 1950s. The other, from Jim Wright, was of the silver Jubilee party, —full of familiar faces, and flared pants. The meeting elected a new committee. The members are: Chair, George Taylor, Gt. Clarendon Street; Vice-Chair, Charlotte Christie, Canal Street; Treasurer, Bill Wilson, Cardigan Street; Secretary, Teresa Stuart, St. Barnabas Street. Committee members: Jenny Ashby, Wellington Street; Janet Davis, Albert Street; Clement Shaw, Castle Mill House; and Peter Stalker, Cranham Street. The Honorary President is Jeanne Needle, Canal Street.
