Do you have a head for figures?

Treasurer needed

Posted - May 19, 2010
With all the frenzy of activity around the canalside site, the Jericho Community Association has had a busy couple of years. This has offered more opportunities for local participation so we are trying to increase the number of volunteers. We have, for example, revamped our accounting system, and now that it is running smoothly, it would be a good time to bring in someone else as Treasurer. We are a small operation, so it should only take an hour or so a month. The current Treasurer doubles up as editor of the Echo, and is looking to work alongside someone who could then take over as treasurer. No specific experience needed, just a head for figures. If you would like to discuss this please contact Peter by clicking here or call 552794. We also need people who could help organize the Street Fair. This task is currently carried out mostly by our Chair, Charlotte Christie, who is keen to pass on her skills and her well-honed system – which involves everything from diverting the buses to allocating the stalls. To find out more, please contact Charlotte by clicking here or call 557902.
