Stalls in St Barnabas Church

Posted - November 14, 2013
On Saturday November 9, on a wet and murky morning, St Barnabas Church proved to be a cosy haven for our first Jericho Fresh Food Market. Almost all the stalls were inside the church, with a very tempting array of produce, including fresh vegetables, cheese and pies. All in all the atmosphere was very international with food stalls offering empanadas and other tasty food from the Philippines, as well as sushi from Japan. Judith from Oxford Fairtrade was also on hand selling clothes from Latin America. There was also a wide array of gift cards. The bread stall chose to brave the weather outside but still seemed to do good business.

Shoppers also had the opportunity to rest their feet at the Jericho Community Cafe across the road where Tracey was producing her using tempting breakfasts and cakes. If you missed it, just make sure you make it to the next market which will be held in the church from 10 am to 12.30 pm on December 2.
