Food for rustic Italians

New restaurant

Mortons, the new owners of the former Smiths Security shop in Walton Street, hopes to open up there in May as a ‘rustic Italian’ restaurant. Does Jericho, or even Oxford, need another restaurant? Mortons admits that Oxford must now be close to saturation, but points out that there are not that many Italian restaurants and its offering will be more accessible, and less expensive, than Le Petit Blanc.
