This winter the Jericho Community Association is helping to provide rough sleepers with shelter for the night. The JCA is working with Oxford Winter Night Shelter which organizes accommodation in a different location each night in community centres and churches around Oxford city centre.
We provide rooms at the Jericho Community Centre on a Friday night, until March 31st. The guests are provided with a warm welcome, hot drinks and a snack on arrival, a warm bed, and breakfast the following morning.
The services are provided by a group of trained volunteers who work evening or morning shifts, with some also sleeping in the community centre for the night.

OWNS works alongside the Oxford Street Population Outreach Team (OxSPOT) and St Mungos. If you are concerned about someone sleeping rough you can contact OXSPOT on 243229 or email outreach.oxford@mungos.org.
