Thousands enjoy festivities in Canal Street

Thanks to everyone who came to the Jericho Street Fair on August 28, but especially those who worked so hard to to make it a success - all the volunteers, but notably Charlotte Christie the JCA Chair who made most of the arrangements, and Alex Hollingsworth for marshalling the traffic -- always an interesting hour or so when all the stall holders throng in at once to to set up their wares.

Thanks too to Johnny Hinkes and friends, as well as Nick Gill at the piano, for wonderful music outside the communtiy centre, and  of course Shim for running the busy cafe -- and Elizabeth Barnes for baking the excellent vegan brownies!
