Lucy’s flats

Residents are upset about Lucy’s latest proposal – a three-story block of flats to be squeezed in between Venables Close and Juxon Street, replacing existing garages, with access from Cranham Terrace. The Lucy’s tenants in Juxon Street would lose big chunks of their gardens and both they and others would suddenly find themselves overlooked by new neighbours. Local councillors are vigorously opposed to anything on this scale, and since one, Colin Cook, is also on the Planning Committee, the proposal will probably get an unsympathetic hearing.
