More changing faces

New book about Jericho

There is now a ‘book two’ of The Changing Faces of Jericho by Julie Kennedy – another fascinating collection of photographs, available from the Post Office for £8.50. The face below is that of Wendy Matthews who has clearly changed very little since 1964. The picture was taken when she and her husband Tony ran the Crown in Canal Street – another of our former pubs. Wendy is now a star of the Jericho Rejects drama group.
