New zone

There has been considerable demand for Jericho to become a 20 m.p.h. zone. Councillor Susanna Pressel has been passing on these requests and now it seems something may happen. The County Council is to consult residents, retailers and visitors, through street notices and advertisements as well as at the Area Committee meeting on Tuesday, February 10 (see page opposite).The Council’s Transport Implementation Committee will receive these comments on April 14, and if they decide to go ahead the work should be completed in a couple of months.
