Recycling and precycling

Jericho pilot

ericho is fortunate to have been selected as a pilot area for an extensive new City Council recycling scheme that could reduce landfill costs. In November each household will get a 50-litre open-top green box to leave out on dustbin day for items like bottles, cans, newspapers, and clothing. Early risers can leave it out at 7 a.m. The rest may be tempted to leave it out the night before, which will also permit some precycling through Jericho’s cats.
