The 2019 Jericho Street Fair was a great success, despite early blustery conditions. A huge array of food stalls, along with many different groups and organizations presenting their activities. Much painting of faces and consumption of candy floss. The street fair was also the opening day of filming for Maggie Black’s Our Jericho project
Our thanks again to our tireless organizer Charlotte Christie, to Mick Clack who organized the music on the Community Centre stage — and the many people who helped manage the stalls and activities and keep the children bouncing inside the bouncy castle.
Special thanks too to the many local businesses who generously donated prizes for the raffle: Branca; Brasserie Blanc; Daisies; Harcourt Arms; Illyria Pottery; Jamals Restaurant; Jericho Tavern; Jude the Obscure; Phoenix; Rickety Press; Standard Restaurant.
