Street Fair weathers the weather

Hundreds of residents and visitors crowded into Canal Street on Saturday June 13 for the 2015 Street Fair. With many more stalls this year, there was no shortage of food and entertainment Thanks to everyone who helped out— especially organizer Charlotte Christie. Chris Padmore lined up excellent music on the Bookbinders stage, while Johnny Hinkes and the Honolulu Cowboys performed in Cardigan Street. Local businesses generously donated prizes for the Grand Raffle, drawn by Father Jonathan. They were: Branca, Carluccios, Fair Trade Oxford, Daisies, G & D Ice Cream, Frog Orange, Midcounties Co-ops in Walton Street, Oddbins, Phoenix cinema, Posh Frocks, and Walton Street Cycles.
