The New Inn closed after Christmas (alas) and, like the Crown, is being converted for residential use. Best of luck to Nobby and Karen who are leaving the Globe in May. Nobby is going back into the police force and they will live in Eynsham. Nobby will, however, continue to play darts and Aunt Sally in local teams. Mick and Sue of the Bookbinders Arms will be replacing them.

Welcome to Mr Ali who has taken over the Jericho Stores in Albert Street. Welcome also to the 'Cycle King' who recently took over Faulkner's old shop in Walton Street just before it was completely dismantled by vandals. A very bold choice of red...'
