Irene Turner

Irene passed away aged 81 in hospital on Monday 22nd December after a short illness. Irene lived in Cardigan Street and was well known in Jericho. She was the widow of Roger Turner who had helped manage the Community Centre in its early years. She had been  in Jericho for 60 years and was much-loved mum, nanny and friend.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday 3rd of February, leaving Cardigan Street at 11:30 a.m. At 12 p.m the service by Father Domenic will be at St. Aloysius Church, St. Giles -- where Irene was baptized. Burial at Botley Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.  

All are welcome to funeral and to the wake at the Harcourt Arms from 1 p.m.
